Black Satin reduces the outside temperature of the pipes for quick cool-down (less burnt arms and hands for the crew). Since the valve covers are pulled immediately after a run for head rebuilding, CermaSeal protects the pipes from baked-on spilled oil, thus simplifying clean-up.
