How to smooth a caliper:
The following pictures are to show what a cheap ($17 at Harbor Freight) grinder and 15 minutes can do to make really ugly OEM parts look like custom ones! These ended up being PowderCoated, but could have as easily been painted. No real secrets...just clamp down the parts, put on your safety goggles or shield and start smoothing off the casting flash and lettering.
